Lola has taken care of my Maine Coon Tabbies as well as my (late) dog for years. I travel a great deal and the girls love her which is a great comfort. There is never a doubt they are not being treated like they were her own. She is prompt, professional and trusted and consistent with excellent service. ~Tina S

I first met Lola over 7 years ago when she hired me to become her dog walker for her pup Jolene. She was one of my first clients, and over the years I continued to grow my pet sitting business while walking Jolene, her other pup Scarlet, and taking care of her chickens and horses when she traveled. She held continuing education seminars for my staff to teach them about chicken care and horse care. She not only became a friend, but a trusted advisor due to her intelligence and experience with pets and business. She is friendly, loving and the ultimate pet lover (with an amazing sense of humor). I’d trust her to care for my pets in a heartbeat and cannot recommend her enough to care for yours. ~Andrea S (Take The Lead)

For most people, planning a trip of a lifetime is exciting. You plan for months, in our case years, and try to think about every possible detail and scenario. When my husband, Jim, and I planned an extended trip to Africa we knew it was going to be amazing. What we did not expect was for our 12-year-oldLabrador Retriever, Sophie, to shake things up a bit. In the beginning stages of our trip planning Sophie was great. She was going on walks, traveling with us, and being her playful, loveable self. Twelve months later her mobility began to decline. Her walks got shorter. She started to need assistance getting up. Although her love for food has never really changed, her medication regimen became more complicated. And a few months before we were scheduled to take off to Africa, Sophie was no longer going for walks and now in need of a boost to stand every time to get up. We built a ramp to prevent her using steps. We made her an orthopedic bed. We tried socks with rubber grips and placed rugs and mats all through the house to avoid slips and falls. With an expensive trip already paid for Jim and I were nervous…who was going to be able to care for Sophie the way we do? Who could we trust enough to care for Sophie? Sophie
Our previous dog sitter referred Lola to us. When we first met Lola, I knew her love and dedication for animals would match how we care for Sophie. After our first meet and greet I knew Lola was the perfect “fill-in dog mom.” Because of Sophie’s special needs, having Lola offer to spend three weeks in our home with Sophie was the best option. Lola drove from out of state, over 150 miles, to our house where Sophie greeted her with her tail wagging and smooches. Throughout our trip, Lola sent us pictures of Sophie which put our nerves at ease – not only seeing our fur baby but knowing that she was being so well cared for made us feel less guilty for leaving her. We planned for any possible situation. We communicated regularly. We tried our best to set Sophie and Lola up for a successful three weeks, and when we returned home Sophie was happy. She was well cared for, and we could tell Lola and Sophie had become best friends. If you are looking for an amazing, caring, dedicated, loyal, and responsible pet sitter – Lola is your girl! I only wished we lived closer so we could plan more visits together. Lola truly understood Sophie’s needs and took care of our girl just like we do. We are so grateful for the love and dedication that she showed – Lola went above and beyond in every way. ~Abbey B

If my poodle Wendy had opposable thumbs, she would be writing this review herself because she is obsessed with Lola. Wendy is famously anti-social (she once growled at a squirrel for getting too friendly), but somehow, this magical human has won her over. I don’t know what kind of dog-whispering sorcery is going on, but Wendy turns into a snuggly, tail-wagging marshmallow whenever Lola’s around. Highly recommend—unless you’re a squirrel. ~Melissa H
