How do I become a client?

Contacting Paws And Pastures is easy, just send us an email (PawsPasturespc@gmail.com). Please include details such as the services you’re interested in, any dates you may have in mind and information about your pets to help us better assist you. You may email to arrange a meet and greet. Meet and greets are scheduled based on your availability and preferences and typically lasts about 30 minutes. During the meet and greet you will receive a client intake form (we can also email you PDF you can fill out and send back) to complete with important details about your pet(s). Once your forms are submitted and finalized, you’ll be ready to schedule with Paws and Pastures.

What kinds of pets do you care for?

Dogs, cats, assorted farm animals including chickens, goats, horses, donkeys and the occasional cow. Have a pet that’s not on the list? We probably care for those too!

What is a day like for my pet if they stay at your farm?

At my farm, your pet will enjoy a fun-filled, structured day in a beautiful farm setting with plenty of space to explore. The day starts with morning playtime and exercise in the fenced yard, where they can roam safely or use the dog doors to go in and out as they please. Throughout the day, they’ll receive one-on-one attention, enrichment activities, and lots of love, with plenty of time for cuddles, walks, and play. Because I work from home, your pet will never feel lonely and will always have supervision and companionship. Evenings include relaxing downtime, belly rubs, and winding down after a day full of fun!

What is your farm like?

My farm is an beautiful 8-acre property featuring lush pastures, complete with horses, and a fully fenced, spacious dog yard. Conveniently designed with dog doors, the yard allows your pet the freedom to come and go as they please. Additionally, a generously sized deck, also equipped with dog doors, provides the perfect vantage point for your dog to observe the scenic pastures. For outdoor adventures, a nearby creek offers an excellent spot for leisurely walks, while the Little Pipe Creek dog-friendly walking trails provide additional opportunities for exercise and exploration.

Is Paws And Pastures insured?

Yes! We are insured though Pet Care Insurance.

 

 

 

Are you pet CPR and first aid certified?

Yes! We are pet first aid and CPR certified though the Red Cross

 

 

 

 

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible regarding cancellations. As our capacity for pet care is limited, we kindly ask for as much advance notice as possible. If you cancel at least three days in advance, your deposit will be fully refunded. Should you need to reschedule with sufficient notice, we would be happy to apply your deposit toward your new appointment.

Why is a deposit required?

Due to our limited capacity and small-scale operation, a deposit is required to secure your reservation. This deposit will be applied toward the cost of your services. If you need to cancel, deposits are fully refundable if the cancellation is made at least three days before your scheduled service.

What is your service area?

Our farm location is in Union Bridge Maryland. Our service area is Carroll County Maryland and some parts of Frederick County. If you’re not sure if we service your area, please reach out. For Overnight stays in your home I can often travel outside of my regular service area for an additional fee.
